Jan and Stephanie got married in the first week of January. That was the first super rainy weekend to hit Gauteng this year and driving out to Limpopo in the flood was an adventure in itself. It was my first time shooting at Kuthaba and I totally get why Jan and Steph chose the venue. The view from the ceremony lapa is absolutely breathtaking!
Even though it was raining when I arrived, Jan and Stephanie were blessed with no rain just long enough to have their outside ceremony and portrait session.
The couple decided to do a first look and spent a few minutes praying together before the ceremony. It was a special and tender moment and as Stephanie put it, it helped the couple to release all the built up emotions and excitement before the ceremony so they could enjoy the ceremony being happy and at ease.
The wedding had a soft but trendy and vibrant colour palette and their name card holders were plastic animals spray painted rose gold that I adored.
Stephanie had a stunningly soft and flowing off-the-should dress that was a perfect combination of grateful and down-to-earth.
One of my other favourite things about the day is their pink rice krispie confetti! It made for such a fun a colourful photos!
Jan and Steph – Thank you for sharing your awesome wedding day with me.
